AI Enablement Consultant
About The Position
This role equips accounting and finance professionals to use generative AI tools, including Claude and ChatGPT, to improve productivity, accuracy, and insight in daily operations. The consultant serves as a technology advisor and change enabler, driving adoption, designing training paths, and embedding AI best practices into finance workflows. The position is fully remote and listed as full-time, with a contract duration of 3–4 months and a contract rate of $90–$120 per hour W2. The role is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in finance transformation, accounting operations, or analytics, with exposure to AI enablement.
- Proficiency with LLM tools such as ChatGPT and Claude, and finance platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and Workday Adaptive.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate evolving AI capabilities into actionable outcomes for non-technical users.
- Experience designing training programs or leading digital adoption initiatives in corporate finance functions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver targeted training on using Claude and ChatGPT for accounting and FP&A tasks, including variance analysis, reconciliations, narrative reporting, and forecasting.
- Build AI prompt libraries, templates, and governance frameworks aligned with finance controls and data privacy standards.
- Evaluate opportunities to use generative AI for process automation, including closing cycles, management reporting, and audit preparation.
- Coach finance teams on integrating AI into ERP, BI, and Excel-based workflows.
- Partner with leadership to plan AI adoption strategy and define cost-benefit metrics for AI enablement.
