About The Position

The company is seeking a hands-on AI Automation Engineer for a fixed engagement to rebuild and automate marketing, growth, and community workflows. The goal is to reduce the roughly 10 hours of manual work per content and community cycle to about two hours, leaving people to focus on judgment, approvals, and relationships. The engineer will audit existing processes, identify tasks to automate while retaining appropriate human oversight, and deliver reliable workflows the team can operate after the engagement ends. The role requires independence, care for quality, and the ability to take a high-level objective through to implementation and handoff. The position is fully remote.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience building automation, integrations, or internal tooling, including some work for marketing, growth, or community teams.
  • Hands-on experience building production workflows with LLM APIs such as Claude or OpenAI, including prompt design, structured outputs, and evaluating output quality.
  • Proficiency with a workflow platform such as n8n, Make, or Zapier, plus enough Python or TypeScript to extend beyond no-code tools.
  • Experience connecting social, email, CRM, and community platform APIs, including handling authentication, rate limits, and failures gracefully.
  • A portfolio of shipped workflows that are still running and the ability to explain their before-and-after impact.
  • Strong written judgment and the ability to assess whether AI output is on-brand.
  • Integrity, initiative, resilience, resourcefulness, motivation to get things done, organization, process orientation, curiosity, openness to feedback and dialogue, and a focus on team success over personal recognition.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building Discord, Telegram, or Slack bots.
  • Experience with retrieval over company documents (RAG) for support or FAQ assistants.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics and attribution tools.
  • A background in marketing, content, or community.

Responsibilities

  • Map the current blog production process from idea to publication, time each step, and establish a measurable baseline.
  • Build workflows and agents to automate blog research and source gathering, briefs and outlines, first drafts, fact and link checks, SEO metadata, formatting, and CMS publishing, with human editing and approval before publication.
  • Encode the company's brand voice into reusable prompts, style guides, and examples so AI drafts require light editing rather than rewrites.
  • Automate the creation of marketing and sales materials, including one-pagers, case studies, slide decks, and email sequences, using templates and existing content, product documentation, and customer stories.
  • Turn published posts into on-brand drafts for X, LinkedIn, and community channels.
  • Document workflows and conduct a handoff so the team can operate and adjust them after the engagement.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and benefits.
