About The Position

SK AX USA, Inc. is seeking an AI Application Developer to support the development and deployment of enterprise AI solutions for SK hynix operations in the United States. The developer will work with AI Architects, business stakeholders, and Korea-based development teams to implement AI-enabled applications using company-provided large language model platforms, AI agents, and automation technologies. The role focuses on application development, business system integration, requirements gathering, testing, deployment support, and ongoing improvement of AI-powered business services. It offers hands-on experience with enterprise AI solutions, workflow automation, AI agents, and business process innovation in a global semiconductor environment. The position is based on-site in San Jose, California, with occasional local travel within the San Jose/Bay Area as needed. It is a full-time role with an annual salary range of $75,000–$95,000, based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Korean bilingual capability is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work closely with business users and technical teams and to gather and communicate requirements effectively.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
Interest in AI technologies, automation, and business process improvement.
Ability to troubleshoot application and technical issues.
Understanding of software development lifecycle concepts.
Occasional local travel within the San Jose/Bay Area as needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience in software development, application development, or application support.
Experience developing enterprise or business applications.
Knowledge of Python, Java, C#, .NET, SQL, or similar technologies.
Basic understanding of REST APIs and system integration concepts.
Experience working with relational databases and SQL.

Responsibilities

Develop AI-enabled business applications using company-provided LLM platforms.
Support the development of AI agent and workflow automation solutions.
Implement application functionality based on solution designs and business requirements.
Collaborate with AI Architects and development teams to deliver AI-powered business services.
Maintain and enhance AI applications.
Work with business users and stakeholders to understand operational needs.
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
Communicate requirements and project updates to Korea-based development teams.
Participate in discussions about AI-driven process improvements and help ensure solutions align with business objectives.
Develop and maintain integrations between AI solutions and enterprise systems, including API integrations with internal applications and databases.
Investigate and troubleshoot application issues and resolve technical and operational issues for users.
Maintain technical and operational documentation.
Support testing, deployment, and release activities for AI applications.
Execute test scenarios, validate application functionality, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and track issues.
Assist with production deployment and post-deployment support.
Monitor application performance and participate in continuous improvement.
Participate in AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
Identify opportunities for business process automation and efficiency improvements.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and tools and contribute to enhancing AI applications and solutions.
