AI Adoption & Enablement Lead

Parts Town•Addison, IL

About The Position

Parts Town Unlimited is seeking an AI Adoption & Enablement Lead to translate its AI strategy and operating model into practical, sustained adoption across the organization. The role leads the people side of AI adoption, helping leaders, Ambassadors, and team members understand what is changing, why it matters, and how to put AI to work successfully. The Lead provides functional leadership, direction, and accountability for a community of part-time AI Ambassadors across divisions. Although Ambassadors do not report directly to this role, the Lead sets priorities, establishes operating rhythms, builds capability, creates accountability, and ensures the network has the tools and support to drive adoption. The role partners with division leaders and AI Delivery to translate enterprise priorities into action, identify barriers and opportunities, support change management for AI initiatives, and ensure the AI operating model works as intended. The focus is on helping people identify where AI can create value, making adoption easier, and integrating useful AI into everyday work. The Lead joins the PTU AI Team and works with AI Product Managers, division leaders, and business partners to help team members learn, share, experiment responsibly, and make useful AI a normal part of work.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience driving change, enabling learning, shaping communications, leading business transformation, accelerating technology adoption, or influencing similar organizational initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience applying change frameworks such as ADKAR to help people adopt new ways of working.
  • Ability to lead without authority by building trust, creating accountability, and moving initiatives forward through influence rather than reporting lines.
  • Practical experience using generative AI tools, crafting prompts, leveraging workflow applications, and applying responsible AI practices.
  • Ability to coach beginners and help leaders connect AI and change efforts to measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to translate strategy into communications, learning experiences, and behaviors that support lasting change.

  • Ability to simplify technical concepts into clear, relevant, actionable guidance.
  • Ability to collaborate and balance enterprise priorities with the needs of individual business areas.
  • Focus on business outcomes and solving real business challenges rather than promoting AI for its own sake.

  • Build consistency across the Ambassador community while accommodating the needs of different divisions.
  • Help identify and develop future AI champions across the organization.
  • Build change-readiness and adoption plans for prioritized AI products and capabilities entering the division.
  • Partner with AI initiative leaders to recruit and prepare pilot users, gather structured feedback, and support post-launch adoption.
