About The Position

As an Operations Associate specializing in agronomy operations, you will help ensure the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of fertilizer, seeds, and crop protection products. The role includes operating equipment, maintaining facilities, assisting with inventory management, and providing service to farmer-owners and customers. Travel to locations to support operations and perform housekeeping duties may be required.

Requirements

• Must have a Class A CDL with applicable endorsements, or be able to obtain one if applicable to the location.
• Must meet the qualifications in the company’s vehicle safety policy to safely operate a motor vehicle for essential job functions.
• Must be able to perform the described physical demands, with reasonable accommodations where applicable; these include occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
• Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of fertilizer, seed, and chemical operations.
• Measure inventory and report it to the supervisor.
• Unload bulk and packaged products and pump bulk chemicals into customer tanks.
• Tender to applicators.
• Fill NH3 nurse tanks during the season.
• Understand the basic agronomy chemistry of all products.
• Perform equipment and facility maintenance, including maintaining housekeeping records and cleanliness.
• Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service.
