About The Position

This is a merit hire position with an hourly rate of $30.73. Dauphin County Area Agency on Aging is seeking a full-time, day shift Aging Care Management Supervisor 3 (Director of Services). This role is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective delivery of Protective services, Care Management services, and Intake and Assessment services within the Area Agency on Aging, adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The position involves reviewing and developing Agency programs and services through the design and implementation of Annual Plans and operational policies and procedures. The Director of Services manages overall Agency operations by providing oversight to the Care Management Supervisor 1 in each service area, including offering training, consultation, and reviewing/analyzing case information and reports to ensure effective functioning and service delivery. This role operates with considerable independence under the general supervision of the Area Agency on Aging Administrator 3.

Requirements

  • Five years of experience in public or private social work.
  • One year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • 12 semester hours of credit in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related fields social sciences.
  • A valid driver’s license and positive driving record at the time of hire.
  • A favorable criminal background check, child abuse and FBI clearances, as well as favorable references.
  • Proof of a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license within 60 days from the date of hire (or an alternative form of identification if not eligible for a PA driver's license and driving is not an essential function).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the efficient and effective delivery of Protective services, Care Management services, and Intake and Assessment services.
  • Review and develop Agency programs and services through the design and implementation of Annual Plans and operational policies and procedures.
  • Manage the overall operations of the Agency by providing oversight to the Care Management Supervisor 1 assigned to each area of service.
  • Provide training and consultation to Care Management Supervisor 1.
  • Review and analyze case information and reports to support effective functioning and service delivery within each unit of service.
