About The Position

Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for an experienced Agile Developer - Microservices Developer to join their rapidly growing team! This role involves modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The developer will be responsible for writing Java Spring Boot based microservice applications utilizing AWS native technologies and building REST services with Spring, capable of filtering and selecting complex data objects. The position also requires implementing CI/CD principles utilizing Maven, Gitlab, and GitOps. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential as software development is a team-oriented discipline.

Requirements

• TS/SCI Poly - with CI poly within last 7 years
• BS + 6 years experience

Nice To Haves

• Java, Spring boot or python
• Microservice architectures
• CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, Gitlab & GitOps; Kubernetes, docker
• Database : NoSQL / MongoDB Query and Schema Design
• OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience
• Test frameworks and automation to include Playwright and Cucumber

Responsibilities

• Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
• Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
• Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders
• Support an on-call rotation
