About The Position

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Agile Developer III to join our team! Seasoned Software Integration Engineer with proven experience building, debugging, and maintaining Java- and Python-based integration services on AWS.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 9 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience
• An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 7 years
• Proficiency in Java and Python
• Systematic root cause analysis; can break down a problem into reproducible steps and communicate findings clearly
• Direct experience building and maintaining services in AWS, including production monitoring (e.g., Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB)

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated ability to debug complex, cross-language codebases (Java ↔ Python) under pressure (e.g., on-call rotations)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with regular sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming

Responsibilities

• Takes end-to-end responsibility for integration components—from design through production support
• Hands-on software development focused on integration or API-centric products
• Direct experience building and maintaining services in AWS, including production monitoring (e.g., Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB)
• Works effectively with the team (internal and cross-domain); comfortable reviewing MRs and providing constructive feedback
