About The Position

This role involves analyzing technical documentation, drawings, electrical schematics, and engineering data to define installation and assembly methods for avionics systems. The successful candidate will develop, modify, and maintain work instructions and manufacturing documentation, define assembly sequences, installation methods, tooling, and necessary resources. This position provides technical support to production for issues encountered during assembly or installation, analyzes non-conformities, and proposes solutions to improve processes. The role also involves collaborating with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Configuration Management teams, supporting the implementation of engineering changes, identifying process improvement opportunities, and ensuring methods comply with technical, quality, and aerospace certification requirements. Participation in design reviews and providing feedback on manufacturability and installability are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • DEC or degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing methods, production, assembly, or technical support within the aerospace industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of avionics systems, aerospace wiring (EWIS), and installation methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop practical technical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • French proficiency; functional English depending on the position requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of CAD/PLM tools and document management systems is an asset.
