About The Position

This is a full-time, fast-paced position which requires working under strict deadlines and with a keen eye for detail. This position assists the QC Production Supervisor and other QC Production staff with routine functions and daily task. The role supports quality assurance and production operations through inspections, record review, documentation, and problem-solving. This position may be stationed and operate from different Mountain Rose Herbs (MRH) production areas to include 4020 Stewart and the Mountain Rose Herbs Industrial Campus.

Requirements

  • Perform quick and accurate work with a strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Communicate competently with management team and other staff as needed, particularly for any questions, concerns or issues that arise.
  • Perform accurate record keeping, basic typing skills, and have legible handwriting.
  • Basic mathematical calculations.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to use computers, tablets, and common software applications to access information, enter data, and complete job-related tasks.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well with others in a team orientated environment.
  • Position requires the ability to "shift gears" at a moment's notice and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Reports to work on time consistently, follows instructions, and responds appropriately to management feedback.
  • Continues to develop skills, gains additional knowledge, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
  • Follows all MRH procedures, policies, and protocols including those specific to QC Production.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and approves production batch records and labels.
  • Drafts batch records for Extract Production.
  • Investigate non-conformances and complete non-conformance reports.
  • Work with QC Lab to inspect products and materials.
  • Assist QC with customer compliant investigations and place products on hold.
  • Respond to radio calls for QC Production.
  • Perform ATP and environmental swabbing.
  • Test sanitizer.
  • Check spice and tea blends.
  • Label updates.
  • Production scale calibration checks.
  • Conduct warehouse inspections.
  • Complete facility pest logs.
  • Update MMR's/MF's notebooks.
  • Conduct actual yield and fill checks on the Herb Floor.
  • Place material on hold in inventory.
  • Use computers, tablets, inventory systems, and other technology to enter data, access records, complete documentation, and perform assigned QC Production duties.
  • Willingness to learn and perform new procedures, equipment, and technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
