About The Position

This role involves participating in new product development activities at the platform level within the aerospace industry. The successful candidate will support aircraft design by applying Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and cost optimization principles. The position requires working within a multidisciplinary team to support project requirements, contributing to business cases and feasibility analyses, and collaborating with Supply Chain and Industrialization teams to define optimal manufacturing strategies. The role also includes reviewing and optimizing configurations and concepts with Advanced Design teams, evaluating manufacturing and assembly technologies, defining final assembly and integration methods, and ensuring supplier activities comply with design standards. The agent will be responsible for producing and documenting manufacturing definition deliverables, identifying risks and proposing mitigation plans, supporting problem-solving and schedule recovery, and contributing to project tracking (cost, scope, risks, deliverables). Additionally, the role involves providing support and visibility to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent college diploma in aircraft manufacturing.
  • More than 7 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing and systems integration.
  • Strong technical profile with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Innovative mindset with strong problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.
  • Solid understanding of aerospace engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt messaging to different audiences, with a collaborative team approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
