About The Position

The Agent de méthodes will analyze production parameters in real-time or retroactively, report detected deviations, and collaborate with various teams (atomization committee, production, maintenance, etc.) in problem analysis and resolution. This role also involves conducting test and experimentation plans. The position requires 80% of the time on the production floor for concrete operational support and 20% for analysis, report writing, and participation in design, industrialization, and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing methods or industrial processes.
  • Good understanding of mechanical assemblies and the ability to diagnose technological problems.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to communicate effectively and write reports for various groups and departments.
  • Good sense of simplification and pedagogy.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and initiative.
  • Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Prioritize health and safety in operations.
  • Proficiency in French (oral and written).
  • Basic knowledge of English (oral and written) is required due to common interactions with the global team outside Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze production parameters in real-time or retroactively and report detected deviations.
  • Collaborate with all teams (atomization committee, production, maintenance, etc.) in problem analysis and resolution.
  • Conduct test and experimentation plans.
  • Support the deployment of new equipment and analyze manufacturing performance.
  • Implement actions to increase productivity, reduce waste, and control costs (SQDC).
  • Provide daily technical support to production teams.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems.
  • Manage deviations and lead the resolution of non-conformities (containment, root cause, corrective/preventive actions) in coordination with Quality and Engineering.
  • Develop, validate, and standardize manufacturing/assembly methods.
  • Contribute to trials and updates of standard work while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Define required tools, jigs, assembly fixtures, and control gauges.
  • Contribute to the optimization of workshop layout (flow, ergonomics, safety, capacity).
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Production to implement process changes, introduce new processes/equipment, support ramp-up, and ensure process robustness.
