About The Position

SOGECLAIR DIGITAL ENGINEERING consolidates and develops engineering projects within the group, characterized by a diversity of fields of expertise. As a human-sized company, SOGECLAIR and its teams of experts offer multiple skills in mechanical engineering, from research and development phases to service support. Our expertise includes: aerostructures and systems installation, aircraft interior cabin outfitting, industrialization, configuration management, management and operations consulting, product and process performance, digital transformation, operational excellence, and environmental transition.

This role involves working closely with the production department, the methods support team, and the engineering department to analyze tooling requests, update timelines, and support the operations support team with technical issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and presenting the status of tooling projects, analyzing and assigning new tooling requests, and supporting requesters and team members throughout the process. Understanding and mastering the tooling team’s processes is crucial.

Requirements

• College diploma in mechanical/industrial engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• At least 3 years of experience in tooling
• Fluency in French and good knowledge of English

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the aerospace industry (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the production department, the methods support team, and the engineering department to analyze tooling requests
• Update the timelines for various tooling requests
• Participate in and support the operations support team, assisting them with technical issues
• Organize and present the status of the plant’s tooling projects
• Analyze and assign new tooling requests to the various departments
• Support requesters and team members throughout the tooling request process
• Understand and master the tooling team’s processes
