About The Position

The A220 commercial aircraft program is seeking avionics inspectors to join our team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). Requirements

  • A D.C.S. or A.C.S. Technical Avionics OR
  • A T.S.D. Aerospace Cables and Circuits Assembly OR
  • An evidence of successful completion of an electrical fasttrack OR
  • An E License OR
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the avionic field within the last 5 years
  • You demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and work well in a multidisciplinary team
  • You will be required to work in an enclosed space
  • You will be required to work at heights of up to 30 feet on a regular basis
  • Ability to adopt and maintain various physical positions as required by the job
  • This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Determine the order of inspection operations to be performed by consulting functional test reports and complex drawings
  • Compare functional test reports and drawing specifications to ensure no information has been omitted
  • Assemble, adjust, and calibrate test benches, indicators, and recording devices to carry out readings of instruments and electrical and electronic circuits, in compliance with functional test standards and quality control requirements
  • Conduct functional tests and inspect electrical and electronic circuits
  • Write investigation and inspection reports, technical anomaly sheets, corrective actions, replacement reports, and rejection and rework reports
  • Other related duties based on experience and qualifications
