About The Position

This role is for a Methods Agent - Operations Support with a WEEKEND work schedule. The primary focus is on technical problem-solving, project management for production optimization, and harmonizing engineering and assembly strategy changes. The agent will establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components, define necessary tools, and optimize work instruction processes. This position requires collaboration with various departments including engineering, logistics, quality, and production.

Requirements

  • Hold a college diploma in engineering or equivalent
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in the aeronautics field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Very familiar with SAP and MS Office software, including MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Knowledge of Catia V5
  • Good team player with strong communication skills, ensuring interface with the many involved business partners
  • Superior organizational and leadership skills
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and changing work environment

Responsibilities

  • Act as a leader in solving technical problems by coordinating activities with other support services and technically supporting the entire problem-solving process: including writing and executing plans, recommendations, and implementing changes
  • Manage short and/or medium-term projects to optimize production, reduce costs, and eliminate non-value-added activities
  • Harmonize the implementation of engineering or assembly strategy changes by working closely with engineering, material logistics, quality, and production departments
  • Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components
  • Define the necessary tools for manufacturing or assembling aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing
  • Be alert to ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies and participate in research and development projects
  • Optimize the processes of writing work instructions and first production control
