About The Position

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Claims Advocate to support clients through the claims process. In this role, you will be responsible for reporting, monitoring, and facilitating communication between clients and insurance carriers. The ideal candidate will ensure timely claim handling, track claim statuses, and assist with claims analysis and reporting. This position requires a proactive approach to managing claims, providing strategic advice, and delivering exceptional client service.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of commercial insurance or claims-related experience.
• Basic understanding of claims handling and coverage.
• Ability to manage multiple claims and follow-ups within defined processes.
• Strong communication skills to obtain updates from clients and carriers and provide clear status updates.
• Ability to explain claims processes and timelines effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Carrier or agency claims experience.
• Insurance designation (e.g., CISR or similar).

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate and triage claims to determine appropriate handling strategies and align with client risk management objectives.
• Analyze claims data, loss trends, and exposure factors to identify patterns and provide actionable recommendations.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on claims processes, coverage interpretation, and best practices for mitigating future risks.
• Coordinate claim resolution strategies with carriers, legal partners, and internal teams to address cost, liability, and operational impacts.
• Lead claims review discussions with clients, presenting insights, advising on reserve challenges, and influencing claim outcomes.
• Interpret and apply policy provisions and carrier practices to guide clients through complex or escalated claims scenarios.
• Manage carrier relationships and advocate on behalf of clients to ensure appropriate handling, responsiveness, and equitable resolution of claims.
• Develop and deliver claims reporting and analysis, including loss runs, KPIs, and trend summaries, tailored to support client decision-making.
• Establish and refine claims handling procedures and workflows to improve efficiency, compliance, and overall client service delivery.
• Provide consultative guidance to clients and internal partners on claims-related risks, process improvements, and operational impacts.
