Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering Methods Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)(Onsite)
About The Position
As a Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering Methods Engineering Intern you will learn and understand the needs of the engineering organization and translate those needs into clear software requirements which will drive the design, development, and testing of high-quality web applications for the engineering organization. You will interface and collaborate with our stakeholders/customers to understand requirements, manage our software products, and communicate progress. You will create strategies for developing scalable and maintainable applications, ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, and drive improvements in our software engineering processes and practice. Engineering Interns at Pratt & Whitney work on challenging, meaningful, and impactful projects across our business. Our intern program seeks to help you develop an understanding of the aerospace industry and learn about our company and its operations.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and actively enrolled through completion of the internship session.
- Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship session.
- Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Large Language Models (LLM), Cloud experience (AWS, Amazon Web Services), or database design.
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Experience building web applications
- Experience with JS Frameworks such as React and Vue
- SQL experience
