About The Position

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Pratt & Whitney, you will serve as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) member, identifying and addressing project problems, recommending resolutions, and facilitating project tasks with various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives. You will also prepare and present status and technical content to IPT and CIPT. This internship offers the opportunity to gain aerospace experience in your selected discipline, general engineering experience (applied and theoretical), and develop planning, analytical, and execution skills. The intern program aims to help you understand the aerospace industry, our company, and its operations.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering, and actively enrolled through completion of the internship session.
Experience with planning, scheduling, and prioritizing tasks.
Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience using computer aided design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360, or equivalent.
Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
Experience using MS PowerPoint to assemble and deliver presentations.
