About The Position

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Pratt & Whitney, you will serve as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) team member. You will identify and address project problems and recommend resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects. You will also facilitate project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives and prepare/present status and technical content to IPT and CIPT. Our intern program seeks to help you develop an understanding of the aerospace industry and learn about our company and its operations. Gain aerospace experience in your selected discipline, general engineering experience (applied and theoretical), and planning, analytical, and execution skills.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering, and actively enrolled through completion of the internship session.
Experience with planning, scheduling, and prioritizing tasks.
Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

Experience using computer aided design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360, or equivalent.
Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
Experience using MS PowerPoint to assemble and deliver presentations.
