About The Position

Inspire the next generation of Engineers, Inventors, and Problem-Solvers! Since 2008, Eager Enrichment has been inspiring young minds through engaging, hands-on after-school programs. Our Eager Engineers curriculum brings STEM concepts to life for thousands of elementary students through exciting building challenges using LEGO®, K'NEX®, Blocs, and other creative materials. As our programs continue to grow, we are seeking enthusiastic instructors to lead after-school STEM classes for elementary students. If you enjoy building with LEGO®, exploring STEM concepts, and working with children, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact while having fun.

Requirements

Experience working with children in educational, recreational, childcare, camp, volunteer, or similar settings is preferred.
A passion for working with elementary-age students is essential.
Dependable, organized, and comfortable leading groups of up to 20 students.
Comfortable using mobile apps for communication and scheduling.
Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Able to lift up to 40 pounds for short periods of time to transport program materials.

Responsibilities

Lead engaging STEM classes for students in Grades K-4 using lesson plans and materials provided by Eager Enrichment.
Guide students through hands-on building projects using LEGO®, K'NEX®, Blocs, and other engineering materials while developing creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Classroom setup and cleanup.
Guiding students through structured activities.
Maintaining a positive learning environment.
Tracking attendance.
Communicating with staff using mobile applications.
Adapt teaching approach to meet the needs of a variety of learners while keeping students engaged and excited about STEM.
