About The Position

We are looking for smart, creative, dynamic instructors from all backgrounds to teach LEGO classes and camps where students are introduced to a range of STEM concepts while being given the tools to unlock their creativity and their problem-solving skills. This role involves working with children and utilizing a large amount of LEGO materials to teach STEM concepts.

Requirements

Serves as a representative of Play-Well in a positive and professional manner.
Completes all training programs as required by the Area Manager.
Understands the curriculum and concepts thoroughly.
Reliable transportation a must.
Secure location to store teaching materials.
Lift up to 40 lbs to store and transport materials.
Bending, stooping, and crawling with children during class instruction.
Must pass all background checks as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

Teaching/Instruction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Teach LEGO classes and camps.
Introduce students to a range of STEM concepts.
Help students unlock their creativity and problem-solving skills.
Manage each class session, ensuring children are safe, engaged, and having fun.
Communicate with parents and clients in a knowledgeable, respectful, and tactful manner.
Adhere to all Play-Well and facility safety procedures.
Ensure care, safekeeping, and upkeep of assigned LEGO teaching kits.
Respond quickly to communications from management.
Regularly communicate with Area Manager with questions, concerns, and updates.
Set up and break down from class.
Drive to and from class.
