About The Position

AlphaBEST Education is hiring an After School Site Director to lead an after-school program for Little Elm ISD in Little Elm, Texas. The program provides students with a safe, engaging environment for learning and enrichment beyond the school day. The director oversees daily site operations, curriculum implementation, licensing compliance, staff supervision, and relationships with families and school staff. This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Starting pay is $20.50 per hour, based on education. Requirements

A BA/BS or CDA in education.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
Ability to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations.
Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards.

Nice To Haves

At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage daily site operations, including schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation.
Oversee or facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations.
Build a safe and inclusive environment in accordance with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards.
Prioritize child safety and follow procedures.
Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections.
Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements.
Supervise and mentor the site team, provide coaching and feedback, and ensure training requirements are met.
Represent AlphaBEST professionally at school and community events.
Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success.
