About The Position

Under the general supervision of the grant coordinator and school principal, the After School Program Support Specialist facilitates the function of the after school program. The role assists in developing and implementing activities in the STARS after school program, serves as a liaison between school staff, after school staff, and the district office, and coordinates the work of after school para-educators while assisting in their supervision and evaluation.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Must be NCLB qualified: high school diploma plus an associate degree or 48 college-level units, or passage of the Adult Education Proficiency Exam.
• One year of school-site experience.
• Submit a resume, cover letter, copies of transcripts and/or proficiency test results if applicable, and letters of recommendation.

• College degree preferred.
