About The Position

Club K After School Zone is seeking a Program Leader to drive success at one of their K–5 after-school program locations. This leadership role is ideal for someone with a passion for youth development, strong team management skills, and a desire to create exceptional experiences for elementary-aged students. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, supervising staff, developing activities, maintaining compliance with regulations, managing site logistics, and communicating with parents. The position is primarily on-site within school districts, with some time spent at a Beaverton office. It offers a schedule of Monday-Friday afternoons with some weekday mornings, no weekends or late nights, and an average of 26-28 hours per week.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience working with elementary-age youth (teaching, camp, or enrichment programs).
Strong organizational skills, dependability, and a passion for youth development.
Oregon Central Background Registry enrollment.
CPR/First Aid Certification.
Food Handler’s Permit.
Completion of Oregon's Child Care Safety Set Trainings (online modules).

Nice To Haves

Leadership experience or experience supervising staff.
Knowledge of child development and best practices in school-age care.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of one of Club K's licensed after-school sites.
Supervise and support a team of 1–2 teachers and/or aides.
Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that reflect Club K’s values: Safety, Fun, Responsibility, Respect, Integrity, and Continuous Improvement.
Maintain compliance with Oregon state childcare regulations and reporting.
Manage site logistics, student records, and parent communications.
Collaborate with the admin team to meet program goals and plan for site success.
