About The Position

Kamaʻāina Kids is seeking After School Program Managers (Site Coordinators) to lead, mentor, and create a positive, engaging space where children can learn, play, and thrive after school. This leadership role involves managing a school-age after school program site, supervising a team, planning activities, building relationships with parents and school staff, and ensuring the site runs smoothly. The role is great for individuals with leadership experience and a passion for working with children, such as coaches, youth group leaders, or education assistants. Requirements

At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
Some experience working with or leading groups of children
Leadership skills, reliability, and a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to work Monday–Friday afternoons
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawai'i (or have plans to relocate) to qualify.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a school-age after school program site
Supervise and support your team (Group Leaders & Aides)
Plan fun, engaging activities (games, enrichment, homework time, outdoor play)
Build positive relationships with parents, school staff, and your team
Keep your site organized and running smoothly (attendance, communication, light admin)
