About The Position

HOKALI is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated After School Enrichment Educator to supervise and engage students during after-school programming. The role involves creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences for students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade. HOKALI is actively seeking instructors with dance or yoga training and teaching experience. The position is for a yoga program in Vallejo, California, scheduled Mondays for two hours, with the time to be determined, from November 30 to March 1. Educators must be willing to complete three hours of online training. Structured lesson plans are provided, with flexibility to bring personal ideas to class.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have the ability and willingness to complete three hours of online training.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dance or yoga training and teaching experience is sought.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational and enrichment activities.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork.
• Manage student behavior effectively using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe.
