About The Position

HOKALI is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated After School Enrichment Educators to supervise and engage students during after-school enrichment programming. The role is suited to educators who enjoy a dynamic environment and want to create safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences. The specific program is yoga in Vallejo, California, scheduled Mondays for two hours, with the time to be determined, from November 30 to March 1. Instructors with dance or yoga training and teaching experience are actively sought. Structured lesson plans are provided, with flexibility for educators to bring their own ideas.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have the ability and willingness to complete three hours of online training.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational and enrichment activities.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork.
• Manage student behavior effectively using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, and keep spaces clean and safe.
