The After School Program Educator supervises and engages students during after-school enrichment programming. This role is suited to educators who enjoy a dynamic environment and want to create safe, engaging, and supportive learning experiences. The position seeks instructors with dance or yoga training and teaching experience. For this yoga program, the schedule is Mondays for two hours, with the time to be determined, from November 30 through March 1. Compensation is $60 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older.
• Ability and willingness to complete three hours of online training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Teaching experience and dance or yoga training are actively sought.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade.
• Ensure student safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and lead engaging recreational and enrichment activities.
• Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork.
• Manage student behavior effectively using positive reinforcement.
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident records.
• Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe.
