About The Position

As a BrightBee After School Paraprofessional, you will support students in local schools, helping them learn, grow, and succeed. You might work 1:1 with a student or support a classroom alongside a teacher. The role offers flexible work, allowing you to work 2-5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with after-school hours available from 1-6 PM. This position is ideal for those seeking a side hustle or consistent weekly income, offering meaningful impact and flexible work arrangements.

Requirements

• 48 college credits
• Experience working with students with severe disabilities
• Pass a background check
• Follow safety and reporting guidelines
• Complete required school clearances (candidate is responsible for payment)
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

• RBT experience
• Bilingual (Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Support students with learning and after school classroom activities
• Help manage behavior using positive reinforcement
• Assist during lunch, recess, and school activities
