After-School Paraprofessional
About The Position
As a BrightBee After School Paraprofessional, you will support students in local schools, helping them learn, grow, and succeed. You might work 1:1 with a student or support a classroom alongside a teacher. The role offers flexible work, allowing you to work 2-5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with after-school hours available. This position is great as a side hustle or for consistent weekly income. Requirements
- 48 college credits
- Experience working with students with severe disabilities
- Pass a background check
- Follow safety and reporting guidelines
- Complete required school clearances (costs are the candidate's responsibility)
- Prior to working with students, you will need to pass a background check, livescan and may need to obtain other necessary testing/clearances and provide us with authorization to contact former employers.
Nice To Haves
- RBT experience a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Support students with learning and after school classroom activities
- Help manage behavior using positive reinforcement
- Assist during lunch, recess, and school activities
