About The Position

AlphaBEST Education is seeking an After School Group Leader at Innovation Academy in Oro Valley, Arizona. The position leads students through daily curriculum activities in a structured, high-energy environment, including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts. The Group Leader prioritizes child safety, maintains a clean and organized space, helps create a supportive and inclusive environment, and builds relationships with teammates, children, families, and school staff. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; hours may vary. Weekends are not required. AlphaBEST offers hands-on training and practical experience for people exploring education, leadership, or other career paths. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain them.
Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
Must be registered with, or become registered with, the Arizona childcare licensing agency and receive full clearance.

Nice To Haves

At least 18 years old.
Six months of verifiable childcare experience is preferred.
Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment.
Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely.
Flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed.
