About The Position

BrightBee is hiring After-School Group Leaders to support students at partner afterschool programs in San Francisco. Assignments involve helping students learn, grow, and succeed through classroom activities and positive behavior support. Available assignments will be discussed during the interview; being open to more sites and assignment types may increase earning potential. Some single-day assignments may lead to longer-term opportunities. The role offers flexible scheduling for 2–5 weekdays per week, with afterschool hours available from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Candidates complete a video interview, live virtual orientation over Zoom, and the California clearance process. This is an independent contractor engagement, and candidates are responsible for clearance costs, which average around $130 in California. BrightBee guides candidates through the process.

Requirements

At least 48 college credits.
Experience leading large groups of students.
Pass a background check and Livescan, and complete required school clearances and any other necessary testing.
Follow safety and reporting guidelines and complete mandated reporter training.
Provide authorization to contact former employers.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
