After School Group Leader
About The Position
AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs that inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. The After School Group Leader helps create meaningful after-school experiences that help children learn, grow, and thrive. The role offers hands-on experience working with children and collaborating with a team, and includes leading students through daily curriculum activities, prioritizing child safety, maintaining an organized space, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. The position is at Bamford Elementary School, 6055 Traverse Stakes Way, Loveland, CO 80538. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 2:00 or 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Must have a minimum of 460 verifiable hours of experience with children ages 4 and older.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
- Provide proof of experience as required by Colorado childcare licensing regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities, including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts.
- Make child safety the top priority at all times.
- Keep the space clean and organized.
- Help create an environment where children feel supported and included.
- Build strong relationships with teammates, children, families, and school staff.
