About The Position

The After Hours RN provides care to hospice patients outside business hours. Responsibilities include triaging patient phone calls and delivering skilled nursing interventions and supportive care in patients’ residences during evening and overnight duty, in accordance with each patient’s plan of care and needs. The RN also supports and follows through with patients’ families during actively dying and/or death visits on behalf of the hospice team. This position is based in the Fargo area and works from 5 PM to 8 AM, Sunday through Saturday, on a schedule of seven days on followed by seven days off. It is benefit eligible. The starting pay is $36.06 per hour based on experience, with an additional shift differential. Requirements

Minimum of an RN degree.
Strong clinical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to problem-solve independently.
Current RN licensure in North Dakota and Minnesota, or willingness to obtain dual licensure.
Current driver’s license and auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred.
Preferred nursing experience, including at least one year of recent hospital, nursing home, or homecare/hospice experience.
