About The Position

The Aesthetician provides skincare treatments and other aesthetic services at the Lakeside Spa at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort. The role delivers personalized guest services in a serene spa environment, promotes wellness and appropriate skincare practices, and maintains cleanliness, safety, and professionalism. The Aesthetician prepares treatment rooms, cares for tools and supplies, and supports appointment scheduling as needed. The position is on call and may require varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

State license or certification as an Aesthetician is required.
Strong knowledge of skincare techniques and products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and walk.
Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
Regular attendance in conformance with standards.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a spa or hospitality setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform facials, body treatments, and other aesthetic services according to spa protocols.
Customize treatments based on guest needs and preferences.
Recommend products and educate guests on skincare routines.
Comply with health, sanitation, and safety standards.
Sterilize tools and maintain clean treatment areas.
Follow state licensing requirements and spa policies.
Prepare treatment rooms and maintain inventory of supplies.
Track appointments and assist with scheduling as needed.
Promptly report maintenance or safety issues.
Greet guests warmly and explain treatment processes.
Respond promptly to guest questions and concerns.
Deliver service that reflects the resort’s luxury hospitality brand.
Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
