Aesthetician - Part Time (Paris LV)
About The Position
The Aesthetician provides personalized guest service while performing facials, waxing, make-up, and body treatments with a high level of skill. The role includes analyzing skin, recommending treatments and retail products for home care, and customizing services to meet individual client needs. The Aesthetician maintains professional treatment standards, cares for equipment and products, and upholds treatment-room setup, cleanliness, and spa appearance requirements. The position also involves explaining spa services, responding to guest questions and requests, recommending additional services, participating in education classes and staff meetings, and working collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completed and passed the State Board of Cosmetology.
- Two years of Aesthetician experience in a hotel or resort.
- Enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a close-knit team environment with constant coworker involvement.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
- Ability to stand for a long period of time, up to an average 10-hour shift.
- Comfort working around guests who may be in a state of undress.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized, professional service to guests and maintain a positive, helpful, and enthusiastic attitude with guests and team members.
- Perform skin care, body treatments, make-up, and waxing services with a high level of skill.
- Analyze guests’ skin and recommend appropriate treatments and retail products for home care.
- Explain Salon & Spa services and treatments clearly and precisely, and compare menu options to customize treatments for individual needs.
- Recommend and upsell services.
- Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously, and respond to requests promptly, accurately, and appropriately.
- Follow professional treatment standards and directions provided in training classes.
- Properly care for equipment and products used.
- Maintain treatment-room setup and cleanliness protocols, and keep the work area clean, safe, stocked, and organized.
- Maintain spa appearance, cleanliness, a polished look, and proper uniform standards.
- Attend education classes and staff meetings and continue professional education.
- Work effectively with others and as a team, including in a close-knit environment with frequent coworker involvement.
- Work unsupervised for extended periods.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Manager or Assistant Manager.
