About The Position

The Aesthetician provides professional skincare services to clients and applies knowledge of skin anatomy and physiology, product ingredients, and current skincare techniques and trends. The role includes assessing clients' skin concerns, developing personalized treatment recommendations, performing facials and advanced skincare treatments, and collaborating with the Provider team on treatment plans. The Aesthetician also educates clients about products, maintains records, follows sanitation and sterilization procedures, and supports client satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

• Valid state license to practice as an aesthetician.
• At least 2 years of prior experience working as a licensed aesthetician.
• Self-starter and team player.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of skincare products and treatments.
• Sales skills and the ability to recommend products effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Prior work experience in a med spa or medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations to assess clients' skin types and concerns.
• Develop personalized skincare plans and treatment recommendations based on client needs and preferences.
• Perform facials, including deep cleansing, exfoliation, and massage.
• Administer peels and other advanced skincare treatments.
• Work with the Provider team to create specific treatment plans for clients.
• Provide excellent customer service to support client satisfaction and retention.
• Address client questions, concerns, and feedback professionally and promptly.
• Educate clients on products to enhance their procedures.
• Maintain client records and track treatment progress.
• Follow sanitation and sterilization procedures to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products.
• Perform other duties as defined by the business.
