About The Position

This role is responsible for leading and coordinating manufacturing-focused projects and changes within an Aerospace industrial environment. The job involves owning work-package schedules, integrating them into the overall program plan, and ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, on cost, and in compliance with client processes. The role also leads change-management activities, including cost analysis, technical reviews, and implementation tracking, while proactively managing risks and recovery plans. Success requires working effectively within a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing setting and collaborating across multicultural, international teams in the U.S. and Europe using the client project-management methodologies (LBIP).

  • Multi cultural project management: be able to interact with local management + operational team (US based) but also European management (mostly French, German and Spanish)
  • Change management: the facility is under high pressure while being asked to quickly embrace change. You must have proven experience in complex environment, demonstrating agility and quick learning
  • Industrial environment: Understand the aerospace industry challenges (supply chain, quality, manufacturing processes) is requested for this position

Responsibilities

  • Lead integrated team weekly meetings for your respective work package
  • Develop, harmonize, maintain and update schedules for each phase of the program
  • Manage the integration of the work package schedule and ensure that it is harmonized with the overall program schedule and across other work packages
  • Identify and report Issues and risks with mitigation plans
  • Ensure effective delivery, review and approval of all deliverables in each program phase
  • Ensure compliance to all governing documents and processes
  • Participate in the problem solving and recovery plans when required to maintain key deliverables timeline
  • Lead change-management activities, from initiation to engineering implementation completion, for a given portfolio of changes
  • Ensure timely presentation of the changes to the Technical Review Board for conclusive disposition at various stages of the process
  • Prepare information summarizing costs of each change for the Technical Review Board
  • Actively monitor and report the progress at all stages of a change’s life-cycle.
