About The Position

This role is responsible for leading and coordinating manufacturing‑focused projects and changes within an Aerospace industrial environment. The job involves owning work‑package schedules, integrating them into the overall program plan, and ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, on cost, and in compliance with client processes. The role also leads change‑management activities, including cost analysis, technical reviews, and implementation tracking, while proactively managing risks and recovery plans. Success requires working effectively within a fast‑paced, high‑pressure manufacturing setting and collaborating across multicultural, international teams in the U.S. and Europe using the client project‑management methodologies (LBIP).

Requirements

  • Must be able to work full-time onsite in Kinston, North Carolina
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Engineering Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent Technical degree
  • Three to six years of relevant experience in project management or equivalent
  • Aerospace experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency using Google suite
  • A team player with strong communication skills who interfaces well with the many business partners involved

Responsibilities

  • Lead integrated team weekly meetings for your respective work package
  • Develop, harmonize, maintain and update schedules for each phase of the program
  • Manage the integration of the work package schedule and ensure that it is harmonized with the overall program schedule and across other work packages
  • Identify and report Issues and risks with mitigation plans
  • Ensure effective delivery, review and approval of all deliverables in each program phase
  • Ensure compliance to all governing documents and processes
  • Participate in the problem solving and recovery plans when required to maintain key deliverables timeline
  • Lead change-management activities, from initiation to engineering implementation completion, for a given portfolio of changes
  • Ensure timely presentation of the changes to the Technical Review Board for conclusive disposition at various stages of the process
  • Prepare information summarizing costs of each change for the Technical Review Board
  • Actively monitor and report the progress at all stages of a change’s life-cycle
  • Deploy project management basics as per client methods (LBIP methodology)
  • Interact with local management and operational teams (US based) as well as European management (mostly French, German and Spanish) (Multi cultural project management)
  • Demonstrate proven experience in complex environments, showing agility and quick learning (Change management)
  • Understand the aerospace industry challenges (supply chain, quality, manufacturing processes) (Industrial environment)
