The Aeromedical Case Manager Lead provides administrative and technical case management support for Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command (HQ AFRC) Aerospace and Operational Medicine Division. This position will serve as the Subject Matter Expert, be the on-site company focal point and task lead oversighting associated on-site personnel. This position supports the review, tracking, processing, and coordination of medical cases affecting flying and non-flying personnel while ensuring medical readiness and compliance with Air Force medical standards and regulatory requirements. The technician will accomplish administrative case evaluation by receiving, tracking, and reviewing pertinent medical data/information (e.g., medical history, doctor’s findings) to ensure proper documentation is available for government medical providers to substantiate granting a waiver. All information must be input into respective electronic systems depending on case type. The technician serves as a primary liaison between Reserve Medical Units (RMUs), providers, medical treatment facilities, and service members to facilitate timely and accurate case adjudication and resolution. Position contingent upon award of contract, government acceptance of candidate, and positive adjudication of government investigation.
