About The Position

GM Equipment Corporation is a fast-growing equipment rental company with locations in Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. We service these areas, and beyond with a variety of construction rental equipment. Our main focus includes Aerial Lifts (Boom & Scissor Lifts) and Material Handling Equipment (Telehandlers & Forklifts). As a result of our significant growth, GM Equipment Rentals is in need of 1 full-time Aerial Equipment Mechanic for our Columbus, OH location.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to take background /drug test.
• A DOT medical card is required for the Field Service Technician position.
• 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair
• Be knowledgeable with engines, hydraulics and electrical systems
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• 3+ years in the equipment repair industry
• Knowledgeable with hydraulic and electrical repair

Nice To Haves

• JLG or Genie certified technicians with 7 + years experience

Responsibilities

• Preparing equipment for future rentals - servicing, inspections, PM. work.
• Completing proper paperwork in accordance with work done that day
• Fixing / replacing broken parts
• Hydraulic & electrical repairs
• On-site and in shop work environment
