About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an AEM Developer experience. This is a Full-time, 12 Months Contract (Extension Possible) role located in Charlotte, NC, with a 3 days Hybrid on-site requirement. As an AEM Developer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) applications, components, templates, and workflows to support enterprise digital marketing initiatives. You will design and implement personalized customer experiences using AEM Sites, AEM Assets, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments. Collaboration with Marketing, Product, Architecture, and Development teams is key to delivering scalable content management solutions. You will also build and integrate RESTful APIs and external applications within the AEM ecosystem, and configure and manage AEM settings, workflows, permissions, tagging structures, and publishing environments. The role involves developing custom AEM components using Java, Sling Models, OSGi, HTL/Sightly, Servlets, and Spring Framework. Participation in Agile ceremonies, troubleshooting application issues, optimizing website performance, and performing code reviews are also part of the responsibilities. You will support multi-site, multilingual, and multi-channel content delivery, work closely with DevOps teams for deployments, and assist with content migrations and AEM upgrades. Developing and maintaining AEM GraphQL implementations and headless CMS solutions, creating technical documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions are also expected. Contribution to architectural discussions and support for testing activities, defect resolution, and production deployments are crucial for successful project delivery. Partnering with cross-functional teams to drive personalization, content optimization, and customer engagement initiatives is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

Experienced in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development experience and Java/J2EE development experience.
Strong experience with AEM Sites, Assets, Workflows, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
Hands-on experience with OSGi, Apache Sling, HTL/Sightly, Servlets, and Spring Framework.
Experience integrating AEM with third-party systems using REST APIs.
Knowledge of Dispatcher, Apache Web Server, and UNIX/Linux environments.
Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Azure CI/CD, and Cloud Manager.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

Responsibilities

Assist with content migrations, AEM upgrades, and platform enhancements.
Develop and maintain AEM GraphQL implementations and headless CMS solutions.
Create technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational support materials.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Contribute to architectural discussions and provide recommendations for future platform improvements.
Support testing activities, defect resolution, and production deployments to ensure successful project delivery.
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive personalization, content optimization, and customer engagement initiatives.
