About The Position

The Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer executes on and influences the development, implementation, assessment, and support of one or more environments, applications, or platforms. This role involves designing solutions for overall health, performance, and availability, actively resolving system and client experience impacts, and acting as a strong technical expert on the team. The developer will mentor and train junior engineers, advocate for new technology and improvements, and ensure proper security standards for code development. Responsibilities include creating technical documentation, identifying best practices, proposing architectural guidelines, and formulating technical solutions to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, required.
• Adobe Certifications – Adobe Experience Manager
• 5+ years of relevant experience with Adobe Experience Manager (required)
• 10+ years of relevant experience with Marketing applications and in the Marketing space
• 10+ years of experience in the IT field
• Extensive experience with the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization.
• Extensive experience with approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

• Extensive experience with basic activities and deliverables of application design; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into technical application design.
• Extensive knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases and technology platforms.
• Extensive Experience with software reliability management; ability to develop and use principles, methodologies and metrics that increase software product performance and reliability.
• Extensive Experience with production applications; ability to monitor application functions and resolve issues to maintain optimal conditions for system applications.
• Extensive level experience with Java
• Extensive level experience with HTML
• Extensive level experience with JavaScript
• Working knowledge of Terraform
• Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and use

Nice To Haves

• Experience/Knowledge of other Adobe applications such as Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Experience Platform a plus

Responsibilities

• Independently develops clean, maintainable, testable code for work assigned.
• Performs code reviews for all levels of engineer.

• Proposes high-level application platform architectural guidelines.
• Formulates and designs technical solutions to meet business needs.
