This position will be responsible for devising and executing proactive, externally focused communications strategies to build and maintain relationships with key NGOs, trade associations, think-tanks and nuclear energy and consumer influencers. A priority focus will be organizing and coordinating coalitions designed to influence assigned state (primarily California and Texas) policies and federal policies related to low and zero - emissions energy and understanding the political and policy pressure points and encouragement to advance reliable energy policies. Stakeholder management will be a key aspect of the role, including identifying and working with key community, industry, grassroots, grasstops, and third-party influencers, and building and managing networks of supporters and activists. This role also leads the execution of Constellation’s advocacy, education, and engagement campaigns across a variety of channels and tactics including grassroots mobilization, coalition engagement, stakeholder outreach, events, media, and digital advocacy to build momentum and galvanize support for key policy and business priorities. The position will report to the Senior Manager, Public Affairs Campaigns and work collaboratively with Government Affairs & Public Policy, Communications, the Generation and Commercial businesses, Marketing, Brand and Reputation, Investor Relations, Legal, and other Constellation organizations.
