The Advocacy and Recruitment Specialist is responsible for establishing credible and mutually beneficial partnerships with rare and chronic disease advocacy groups, identifying patients and caregivers for various story-sharing opportunities, and for contributing content to our online media platform. The Advocacy and Recruitment Specialist must be able to incorporate the unique patient/caregiver experience into the strategies and solutions we provide to our clients. The Advocacy and Recruitment Specialist serves as the first point of contact for patient leads, which requires excellent listening and communication skills, and be able to develop relationships with patients and caregivers which convey compassion while maintaining professional boundaries. Snow’s journey is centered around the patient experience and the Advocacy and Recruitment Specialist must be open, compassionate and sensitive to the unique life experiences of patients and caregivers. The Advocacy and Recruitment Specialist must be able to incorporate the unique patient/caregiver experience into the strategies and solutions we provide to our clients. PATIENT PRIVACY: The core of our business is working with patients. It is most likely that you will come in contact with personally identifiable information (PII) and personal health information (PHI) of patients living with rare and chronic illnesses. The Advocacy and Recruitment Specialist will be required to successfully complete and adhere to training courses which may include, but are not limited to: Snow Policies and Procedures Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy and Data Security
