We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Advisor, Total Rewards to join our team. As the go-to resource for Total Rewards, you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of our global Total Rewards programs across our corporate offices and network airports. You’ll contribute to a wide range of compensation, benefits, and employee experience initiatives, helping ensure our programs remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with our people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma in Human Resources (HR) or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in HR, preferably in compensation and benefits
  • Knowledge of Canadian and/or U.S. Total Rewards practices, or demonstrated ability to learn quickly
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative

Nice To Haves

  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or CBP (Certified Benefits Professional) designation
  • Experience supporting pensions, audits, and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

  • Support compensation and benefits reporting, audits, and regulatory requirements across Canada and the United States
  • Administer pension plans (401(k), Group RRSP, Defined Benefit Pension Plan), including compliance, documentation, and audit coordination
  • Conduct market pricing, salary benchmarking, and pay analysis
  • Support and administer annual compensation cycles, including merit increases, STI, and LTI programs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries
  • Manage employee leave programs, including WCB, short-term and long-term disability, medical leave, and maternity/parental leave
  • Coordinate return-to-work plans and workplace accommodations
  • Assist with compliance activities, including EEO reporting, 401(k) audits/testing, and workers’ compensation audits
  • Ensure adherence to applicable legislation and internal policies across Total Rewards programs
  • Support attendance management processes and partner on performance-related matters
  • Lead onboarding and offboarding activities from a Total Rewards perspective
  • Oversee ergonomic assessments and support employee well-being initiatives
  • Contribute to employee engagement and recognition initiatives
  • Maintain organizational charts and reporting structures
  • Prepare employee communications, letters, agreements, and presentations
  • Support relocation and immigration processes, including Canadian and U.S. work permits and permanent residency applications
  • Identify opportunities to enhance Total Rewards programs through research and stakeholder feedback
