About The Position

Comcast Advertising is a leader in the TV advertising industry, driving innovation in ad delivery to linear and digital audiences and pioneering the underlying technology. Its media sales division assists local, regional, and national brands in reaching potential customers via multiscreen TV advertising, while its ad tech division, FreeWheel, offers comprehensive adtech solutions for buying and selling premium video advertising across various screens, data types, and sales channels. The Advertising Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing operations that enable small advertisers to reach customers in their retail trading areas. This role also involves developing strategic marketing initiatives, including internal and external client communications and events. Employees are expected to adhere to Operating Principles, prioritize the customer experience, be knowledgeable about products and services, collaborate effectively as a team, actively participate in the Net Promoter System, drive results and growth, foster an inclusive culture, and act ethically.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (or some combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience)

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the hiring, training, evaluating and assisting of a motivated staff to carry out marketing functions.
  • Develops relationships with networks to expand online media and network promotions on the regional level.
  • Writes presentations and proposals that meet clients' needs and budget requirements.
  • Works with sales management in developing business pitches and sales presentations that support the product value proposition.
  • Provides monthly and quarterly marketing reports.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
