About The Position
The Adventure Guide leads guests through the Zipline EcoTour, explains the area's history and ecology in an engaging manner, and orients guests to zipline gear, policies, and procedures. The role also includes maintaining gear, equipment, the zipline course, and general property, as well as assisting with general property projects. This is a part-time, hourly, tip-eligible position requiring 8–30 hours per week. Workdays may last up to 11 hours.
Requirements
- Availability to work weekends, Thursday through Sunday.
- Experience working in customer service.
- An open mind and willingness to learn new skills.
- Physical fitness, including the ability to hike, climb a 50-foot pole, and lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Orient guests to zipline gear, policies, and procedures.
- Guide guests through the Zipline EcoTour and share information about the area's history and ecology in a fun, engaging manner.
- Maintain gear, equipment, the zipline course, and general property.
- Assist with general projects around the property.
