About The Position

America On Tech (AOT), a national nonprofit preparing the next generation of technology leaders from underestimated communities, is seeking an Advanced Web Development Instructor for the Spring semester of its 2026–2027 Tech Flex Leaders (TFL) Program. TFL is an out-of-school-time program for high school juniors and seniors that combines weekly technical training with professional development, career days, and mentorship. The instructor will teach AOT’s Advanced Web Development curriculum to two cohorts, each of 25–30 students, meeting once a week for 2.5 hours. The role is part-time from January through May 2027 and includes instruction, preparation, assessment, student office hours, and curriculum feedback. The instructor will work with the program manager and peer mentor and attend program-team meetings. Some sessions are in person in the Culver City area of Los Angeles; onboarding and other program activities are virtual. Applicants must complete a background check because the role involves interaction with minors.
