About The Position

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is seeking a licensed or certified Paramedic to work as an Advanced Surgical Assistant under the direction of its doctors and surgeons. The role supports dentists and oral surgeons in tasks related to patient care, including pre- and postoperative care, and helps ensure safe operations and a welcoming patient experience. The position performs a variety of duties based on the needs of the practice and may also include office and administrative work.

Requirements

Licensed or certified Paramedic.
Valid certifications that comply with applicable state laws.
Willingness to learn the center's processes and procedures.
Ability to partner with doctors to assure the best possible patient care.

Responsibilities

Help receive and discharge patients and review medical charts.
Assist the surgeon in carrying out safe operations while providing optimal patient care.
Maintain equipment and organization of the surgical center.
Create a comfortable and welcoming environment, prepare patients for treatment, and obtain dental records.
Provide chair-side assistance and pre- and postoperative care.
Prepare materials for impressions and take dental X-rays as directed by a dentist.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, and prepare instrument trays for procedures.
Educate patients on postoperative care and general oral health.
Handle substances in accordance with Health and Safety policies and comply with Health and Safety rules and infection-control guidance.
Perform additional office duties as needed, including scheduling and receiving patients, ordering supplies, and records management.
Perform additional duties as assigned in accordance with state regulations or licensing requirements.
